Antique Nogent-Style Paring Knife with Carbon Steel Blade and Celluloid Handle Made in Sheffield, England

This is the fine quality knife produced from the famous city of blade Sheffield in England.  Sheffield is renowned for manufacturing of fine knives.

This knife is constructed using the Nogent-style process ( blade and rat-tail tang are forged from a single piece of steel and fitted with a handle ).  It has the blade hand forged from the fine carbon steel and tempered to achieve greater toughness providing the long-lasting keen edge cut-ability.  The tang is fitted with the handle to good fitting for durability, strength, & balance.

Maintenance Suggestion:  Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.  After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.  Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended.
