If you are buying from the USA, and having the item posted to the USA: due to new tariffs imposed by the current US administration there will be Import costs to pay which US Customs require to be paid before we can post the item to you. We can issue you a PayPal invoice for the amount, so please send us your PayPal email address when you pay for the item. Royal Mail will charge us for the Import duty and then pass it on to US Customs on your behalf.

The Import duties are as follows:

For items made in China: 35% + £1

For items made in the EU: 18% + £1

For items made in the UK: 13% + £1.

International buyers, please note: due to the fact that it has become so costly to post items to destinations outside the UK, we have decided to implement the eBay option not to accept returns from International buyers, unless of course we make a mistake. In the 15 years + that we have been trading on eBay we have only ever had two customers who have asked to return an item because they 'changed their mind, or bought the wrong item. We try and keep our prices and postage charges as low as we possibly can, so we cannot afford the losses that we would inevitably incur if we did accept remorse returns. We hope that you understand. This UK Free Post 'Buy it Now' is for a DCC Ready (21-pin), Bachmann 31-376 Class 416 2 Car, 2EPB EMU train pack in BR Late Crest, Southern Region green, number 5770, as pictured. We have used some downloaded photographs and some of our own. The downloaded ones are where the two cars are joined together.
As with most Bachmann EMU and DMU train packs, the cars are in their own individual boxes within the train pack box.

For those who don't know, DCC Ready means that the locos will run as they are on an analogue layout and will only require digital decoders (not included) to be push fitted into the sockets inside the units for digital use. Instructions are included.

The original instructions are included, as pictured. Thetre is alsop a spare wired connector to go between the two cars. Both cars feature interior lighting. Between the two cars is a single sprung buffer - you do need to make sure that when you join the cars together that the sprung buffer pushes up against the other car and that it is not under the other car. If you get the buffer under the other car the wheels will not touch the track at that end.

I have test run this EMU on my track and can advise that it ran well and that the interior lighting worked. In my limited experience of running Bachmann 2-car units, you might occasionally need to check the tightness of the non-driven bogies. If they become loose then this can cause difficulty when cornering.

Conveniently, and according to the information on the exterior of the box, this DMU can be fitted with a 21-pin decoder in the power and dummy cars. Instructions for doing this and for upgrading to sound are included, but obviously not the actual decoders...This is a beautifully detailed model. One car is powered - the other is not.
