Used Condition: Structurally this piece is very sound.  However, most surfaces have a layer of rust.  The electrical plug is bend.  The electrical cord is in good condition.  I WOULD NOT plug this item into an electrical outlet due to the age and the lack of modern safety features.  This piece does not have any visible manufacturers markings.

Antique early electric waffle iron. This is marked "The Jiffey Waffle Iron - Mid City Mfg - Chicago - Pat Pend". It has a wood handle and a fiber wrapped electric cord with a Bakelite plug. It measures 6" x 6" and stands about 5" high. It has a patina of age, with rust and some remains of the original nickel plating.
