Erwin Pearl created his Egyptian Revival jewelry in the 1970s, inspired by the public interest in ancient Egypt, particularly the touring exhibition of King Tut's artifacts. His designs from this period, which often feature pharaohs, masks, and hieroglyphics, were made in the 1970s, a decade marked by this Egyptian revival in jewelry and fashion.
