                   Unless specified otherwise, kit will be sent in Freeway sizes as follows:

JT 17 (+1t) tooth Front & 42 (OEM) tooth Rear Sprocket   (scm415 chromoly steel alloy , c45 high carbon Japan steel) and a Made in Japan RK high quality RK ZXW 525x100L (OEM Length) GOLD X-ring street chain rated for up to 1300cc and includes a Rivet type master link ONLY.

Unless otherwise specified, Chain & sprockets are sent in Freeway sizes with a GOLD RK ZXW 525  chain and a RIVET type master link.

For QUICKER gear ratio (off the line, roll on's, wheelies), use a 46 (+4t) tooth rear sprocket. **DEFAULT**
This quick ratio will be much quicker, but slower top speed with higher top gear cruising rpm's.

For FASTER TOP SPEED, and LOWER Top Gear  CRUISING RPM's, use a 17 (+1t) tooth front sprocket.
This +1t front sprocket is a change that will be faster top speed, but slightly slower off the line.

* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)
EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)

OEM Stock (16/42t) gearing is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed. 


JT Front Sprocket also available in 525 x 16t and 17 teeth

JT Rear Sprocket also available in 525 x  39t, 42t, 44t, 46t, 47t, and 50 teeth


All chain and sprocket kits also available in RK 525 ZXW SILVER, and DID 525 VX3 and ZVMX2 X-Ring in Gold and Chrome/Silver (call)


All chains include RIVET type master link.
There is NO CLIP type master link for this new RK ZXW 525 chain!
