Vintage Paul Bellardo 8.0" Brutalist Vase Mid Century Modernist Studio Pottery NYC

Hand-built, large, black matte-glazed ceramic stoneware vase by Paul Bellardo, dated late mid-century.  The spiked-incised pattern encircling the top and bulb-shaped body is one of this artist's changing styles seen over the years.  Signed on the underside as "Bellardo", in Paul Bellardo's recognized signature. A great solid and heavy vase!
