Made in the United Kingdom, we purchased it over 40 years ago from the Kensington and Chelsea Antiques Fair. The frame itself is made, we understand, from rosewood. The only apparent blemish is slight damage to the gilt of the frame inside the glass at the bottom right hand corner. Otherwise- fabulous!
