For sale is a beautiful 1926 Gibson TB-2 tenor banjo with case. This instrument has been recently restored and is in excellent condition. The pot is solid walnut, not laminate, with walnut veneer. Glue joints have been inspected and any necessary repairs have been made. The skin head has been replaced with a Weatherking Fiberskyn head. The original brass retainer ring for a skin head is included. The fingerboard is heavily worn but playability is not affected. The frets are original and are in excellent condition. The tuners are period correct Grover machine tuners and were likely a factory upgrade. 

It has the original case, which has been refurbished, glue joints repaired, recoated with black stain. On a scale of 1-10, case appearance is about a 4 and structure is about an 8. The hardware is all operable, in good shape, with some patina.
