Here is a selection of Plastic Gears for model making

All have the same tooth profile so will work in any combination, except the bevel gears which are intended to work as a pair to give a 90 deg drive.

All have a brass centre (except the worm) with a cross tapped hole for a Grub Screw (included) so can be secured to a shaft.

All have a 4mm centre hole

The worm is a press fit onto a 4mm shaft, but can be very tight.

Worm specification:

Single start giving a number of gear teeth:1 ratio. (eg if mated to a 12 tooth gear the ratio is 12:1)

length 28mm, diameter 13mm

All are suitable for use with Meccano although are not designed to work on standard Meccano 1/2" hole spacing

NB: Some Meccano Axle Rods with guillotined ends may be a tight fit

The included grub screw requires a 1.5mm A/F Allen Key.
