This catalog was published for the Japanese exhibition of the French show organized by the Centre National de la Photographie, offering a panoramic view of the relationship between fashion and photography from the 19th to the 20th century. 

Divided into two main sections — studio photography and outdoor photography — the book showcases 270 works by 25 photographers, many featured in Vogue and other leading fashion magazines. Includes insightful texts by Norihiko Matsumoto and Diana Edkins, as well as a chronology and artist biographies.

Preserved in good vintage condition, with minor rubbing to the spine and edges. Pages remain clean, with no missing or torn pages.
