This is the very rare 1960's Amazing Spider-Man poster print. This is one of the earliest Silver Age officially licensed Marvel Spidey items. It measures approximately 12" by 16 1/2" and features a truly classic full-body pinup image of the web-slinger, based on artwork by one of the greatest of all-time, Steve Ditko! Ditko is a true legend, obviously best known for his classic 60's Marvel work, where he co-created the Amazing Spiderman and Dr. Strange with Stan Lee, and this is based on one of his most memorable images of Peter Parker in costume. It is overall in good condition, particularly considering its age (around 60 years old!), but please note it does have wear that needs to be noted. There is foxing (spotting) throughout the piece on both the front and back side of the paper. There is also creasing and tearing at the corners, with tape stain marks on the front side and tape pieces on the back side. The main image is still very nice, with sharp vibrant colors, and if the piece were matted, would display nicely. This is an outstanding collectible piece that would look fantastic framed and prominently displayed, and is a must-have for the collection of any serious Marvel Comics or Spiderman fan.
