This is rare and interesting Northwest Coast fish club. It dates from the late 19th to early 20th century (1880 - 1920).

The grain and patina of the Red Cedar wood is beautiful.

What's quite interesting is the top portion of the club -- its a stylized Sea Anemone.

It is unsigned and was manufactured for indigenous use.
