K 7 Coffee is an Arabica coffee variety originating from Kenya and developed through selection to produce plants that are resistant to disease, particularly coffee leaf rust, and have stable productivity. K7 coffee cherries are medium sized and tend to be stable in quantity from season to season, thus promising a consistent harvest. In terms of flavor, K7 coffee has a mild character, with medium acidity and body, and a subtle aroma. Due to its strong nature, disease resistance, easy care, and stable yield, the K7 variety is very commonly used in smallholder gardens and commercial production. This coffee is also often used in blends to balance the flavor and stabilize the character of ground coffee products or roasted beans.
