  • After a stellar career with three teams, 12 All-Star game appearances and an MVP award in 1959, Nellie Fox stayed close to the game he loved by becoming a coach with the Houston colt 45's in 1965. Offered here is Fox's coach's contact for 1967. Fox was paid thirteen thousand dollars for his services, where he helped tutor Joe Morgan, turning him into an All-Star and future Hall of Famer:
    The contract, which is dated September 26, 1996. is signed by Fox in blue ink on the inside cover. The signature of Talbot M. Smith appears above Fox's signature. 
  • The signature of Fox is a perfect '10' and in MT condition. 
  • The entire document, is in NM condition. A true one-of-a-kind collectible, from a popular Hall of Famer who has been dead since 1975: Unique Nellie Fox.
