This is a Swiss collectible all around. It is a solid wood carved bowl/stand. The Cuendet company functioned in L'Auberson region until it was acquired by Reuge in 1991. The Swiss folk song and flower are symbols of the Alps and Switzerland. In folk tradition, giving the flower to a loved one is a sign of dedication. The piece measures 7 5/6" diameter, 2 5/6" high, with a 5" base. It is in working condition.
