This book deals with comparing English and Arabic grammars from a systemic perspective.It tackles systemic aspects in English grammar such as the elements of the English clause, the three metafunctions: ideational, interpersonal, and textual; and their systems.The book also sheds light on the Arabic grammar by applying the systemic grammar to it. A contrastive study is made to show the similarities and differences between the two languages.
