Bauer has constructed the Ultrasonic with a 7-sided Sonic Taper and advanced carbon layering, which was inspired by the Nexus ADV. These technologies combine to reduce weight and improve the energy transfer from handle to blade.
In the blade, Bauer uses its FastCore Blade Technology. With this technology Bauer uses lightweight foam that is fused together with an energy core strike zone to maximize puck speed while improving balance and feel.
