This is a first edition in average condition.  It was published by Geoffrey Cumberlege - Oxford University Press in 1952.

 

'Venus Observed concerns a Duke who decides to remarry for a third time. Unwisely he gets his son to pick his bride, and though he likes her, his son then wants her for himself.'

 

This is a 1st Edition / 6th Printing (States - 'Sixth Impression April 1952').

 

Condition:

Book - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, a lean and crease to the spine, opens v.easily to a few pages, some discolouration and slight marking to the page edges and a couple of pages, slight darkening to the top page edges and soft tanning to the pages.

Dust Jacket - Average - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, numerous nicks and tears, slight loss and marking, foxing, discolouration and creasing.

The DJ is price clipped.

The DJ is in a protective plastic sleeve (non-adhesive).
