Recycling and Management of End-of-Life Vehicles in the EU

Recycling has raised awareness over the past couple decades and is constantly a debatable topic among nations of the industrialized world. An immediate call for current and future actions is required in improving recycling technologies as well as encouraging an environment conscious culture among today's citizens. This book deals with the recycling of end-of-life vehicles and focuses on the technical process of recycling, analyzing the importance with relation to the raw material value of the recycled material. The dark side revolving around the illegal export of these vehicles and the dangers of such practices are revealed and countermeasures are proposed.
