A Brass Victorian Oil Lamp converted to a modern Electric Table lamp.

A very ornate example of an early Oil lamp made from both cast and pressed brass with ornate cast and chased decorations.
The lamp has a tapering and wide oil "font" which is beautifully decorated.
The base is cast brass with a four footed raised design.
The lamp is fitted with some modern brass parts allowing the lamp to be used as a modern electric table lamp.

The lamp has a new brass switched BC brass earthed bulb holder.
Wiring is 3 core earthed and gold in colour.

The lamp is wide, heavy and stable and suitable for high traffic areas.

Condition is Solid and as shown...Points to note.....
1. Some small marks to the Brass from use and great age.
2. The lamp has good modern earthed wiring and works well, it has a new plug, cable stay and cable protection.
3. General signs of age and use which add to the Antique authenticity of this old lamp.
