This gorgeous hallmarked sterling silver art deco twin handle sugar bowl

is in very good condition. There are no dings or other damage, just a 

couple of pin head size tarnish on the inside bottom. The exterior is finished

in a segmented pattern, while the twin handles are stepped with beaded ends.

The hallmarks adjacent to one of the handles are as crisp as the day they

were stamped, dating the bowl to Birmingham 1938, just one year before the

outbreak of World War II. The makers' initials, 'S*B' indicate the bowl was 

produced by Synyer and Beddoes. There is a registered number 780543

stamped to the base.
