How do I know if my condenser is bad?
- Loud and abnormal noises coming from the unit.
- Significantly reduced cooling capability from the unit.
- The unit is leaking a noticeable amount of fluid past the typical amount of condensation.
How to install ac condenser?
- Discharge and recover the A/C refrigerant.
- Remove any parts in the way of the condenser.
- Take off the A/C lines that run to the condenser.
- Take off the condenser.
- Install your new condenser.
- Install the A/C lines and replace the o-rings.
How to Replace an A/C Compressor?
- Remove the bolts on the compressor that hold the refrigerant lines in place and carefully inspect the lines for signs of dirt or wear.
- Disconnect the compressor from the electrical connection, remove the compressor mounting bolts and pull the unit out of the vehicle.
- Install the new compressor in reverse order.
