Can my vehicle have this number plate assigned to it?

Please check the age of your vehicle against the "applicable date" of the number plate. The "applicable date" of this number plate can be found within item specifics on this eBay listing. As long as your vehicle is newer than the"applicable date" of the number plate, the number plate can legally be assigned to your vehicle. If you prefer to ask us, send us a message and we will let you know if your vehicle is suitable for the reg or not.

How does the assignment process work?

You will need the full booklet copy of your vehicles most recent V5C logbook in order for assignment to be processed. A V5C new keeper supplement slip from a vehicle which has just been purchased is not suitable for registration assignment. Assignment can be processed online for the majority of vehicles. Assignment can be processed for you or you can process it yourself if preferred. Instructions for the assignment process are included with the item. Once the assignment is completed you will have 72 hours legally to fit a set of physical number plates and inform your insurance about the change of number plate. The £80 assignment fee is included in the price and there are no additional fees to pay.
