I purchased two of this shell from a friend of mine. They are in excellent condition with no scratches or paint issues. They have some missing parts. The parts which are missing on this shell are, the horn, the plow and the side mirrors. I have included couple of glue on shades, I have painted them for easy installation. I have installed the A/C unit. The pics that I found of this loco, the A/C unit is not painted. It comes with interior control board and two figures. I have painted the tips of the MU hoses so they look like the proto type and look better.
I have spent a lot of hours to install the LED lights. All the LEDs are wired separately so, you have the option to turn on and off all the lights separately. I have installed all the right resistors so you don't have to deal with it.
After you iinstall the decoder and the chassis, it will look really cool with all those lights.
The front marker lights can be red or white. The rear markers are red only. When the loco goes forward the rear marker(white wire) will turn on and when it goes in reverse the front red marker(yellow wire) will turn on red. The brown wire goes to front white marker.
All the red wires are positive power wires. The green wires are the negative wires(signal wires). You have to find out which wire is what with a 12-15v power source to hook them up. I have temporarily hooked up the red wires together so you can find out which wire goes to which light.
I have removed the antenna and taped it to the top of the shell so it does not brake.

you can install this shell on a Athearn GP 38 or 40 chassis with little modifications on the shell and the chassis. The coupler height looks good to me. I could not include more pics to show you.
I have included a few pics of the chassis and the modification on the chassis. You need to file the edge a little. Then brake four yellow tabs on the shell and brake two round tabs on the shell.

Payment required within two days.
