Frame Shortening Kit Short Bed Conversion for 1963-72 C10 This kit converts 1963-72 C10 long bed trucks to short bed configuration.It includes a laser etched steel template with all hole locations marked, a strength steel inner “C” channel brace, and all necessary hardware for installation.The kit is compatible with 3/4 ton coil spring trucks.For 1967-72 3/4 ton trucks, the mounting points must be changed to match 1/2 ton C10 mounts.The driveshaft must be shortened before reinstallation.It is not designed for 133" wheelbase trucks or 4x4 trucks.Welding is required during installation.Short bed parking brake cables and lines are required.The conversion changes the wheelbase from 128" to 115".Features include templates for cutting and drilling the frame, a 1/4" thick plate, laser cut C-channel for reattaching the shortened frame, and Grade 8 mounting hardware.
