Marklin began production of the live steam engine model 4097/6 in 1935, continuing production through 1955. The model features a polished brass boiler, steam cock, weighed safety valve, steam whistle, pressure gauge, water gauge, a tablet burner from model 4097/7 and alcohol burner from 4097/6. The original manual in English and German details these features. Included are the original lubricating can, instruction manual, and a non original wrench. Model is 12 in x 12 in  x15 in with removable stack. Note corrosion on the boiler and chimney attachment base. Paint and striping on the base is original, with a few stains. Please carefully examine the photos, as the item is not returnable. Provided is a video using compressed air to operate the model flywheel in both directions and blow the whistle.
