Here for sale is an Rare 1983 Grandstand BMX Flyer Lasercolour LCD Handheld electronic game which remains in Partially working order and in Very Good overall cosmetic state with Fair Contrast, Loud crystal clear sound, Fully responsive controls and sports the original securely locking battery cover with a generally healthy battery bay and terminals.

( Sadly the Backlight for the Color LCD is Extremely Dull/Dim and Will require Repair/Replacement to make it work as intended and should be duly noted/accepted prior to purchase as no returns will be possibly afterwards and as such you are consenting to this being the case upon sale. )

" This game console has been cleaned by myself prior to sale (as has my entire game collection) to ensure it reaches you in the cleanest possible aesthetic condition, from a good outer clean to diminish any surface dirt/grime & stains followed by a surface polish/buffing to bring out the best sheen possible. It is then finished with the display screen getting a good deep clean & polish (this does not mean it will look like new by any means, more just that the years of built up dirt/grime/grease have been diminished/partly removed and the pictures will always form a better understanding of the games condition). Many of my games have also had the entire games control system deep cleaned & serviced to ensure maximum re-playability (where applicable/possible) and improve general responsiveness. This game also comes from a Smoke and Pet free home.

This game remains in partially working order and has been thoroughly tested and the following issue/fault has been found/identified:-

1) Backlight for the Color LCD is Extremely Dull/Dim and Will require Repair/Replacement to make it work as intended and should be duly noted/accepted prior to purchase as no returns will be possibly afterwards and as such you are consenting to this being the case upon sale.

Game has been tested partially working with both batteries and a suitable Grandstand AC adapter.

Controls appear very responsive/firm, Lasercolour LCD graphics via the dim backlight are very hard to see and requires replacement but the sound is loud & crystal clear. Battery bay is generally clean and the battery terminals are in fair overall health. Battery cover is included in extremely good cosmetic condition and locks/closes tightly/securely.

Aesthetically the condition of the actual game is Very good overall. There is various evident surface scratches/marks/wear applied to the screen play area. The Transfer detailing/graphics across the front of the game console unit are entirely complete and remain in excellent overall cosmetic condition with various minor wear/tear apparent throughout. The Black lettering across the player HUB area is fully legible in extremely good health with some minor wear/tear applied. Instructions Decal on the back of the unit is present in Fair still legible cosmetic condition with various lesser wear/tear/fading applied but does not exhibit any peeling/pitting. (There will be other marks/scratches/blemishes present across the entire unit but these should be expected on most used vintage games of this age). Please study the pictures carefully and zoom in to see the exact item you shall receive. If you require more pictures, I shall be happy to provide you with those on request.

Item requires 4 x (AA/LR6) Batteries (which are not included in this sale) or a suitable AC Mains adapter (also not included).

IMPORTANT:- "Please make sure you use the correct AC Adapter for these games if you make a purchase. Ensure you check the Voltage & Polarity of the tip you connect is 100% right/correct before using any AC Adapter. Please "Ask me" if you are unsure or perhaps look at the AC adapters I have listed for sale, so you can purchase something suitable. If you are not certain, then I would advise to simply use batteries." Do not under any circumstances use AC Adapters from Laptops/Mobile Phones/Other Random Hardware as they will very likely damage the unit!. (Returns will not be tolerated/refunded under these circumstances as I can prove if/when this has occurred very easily)

Please make sure you are absolutely happy with the delivery costs you will incur before making your purchase as the postage/import taxes/duty etc. are completely beyond my control and are quoted to you from E-bay and paid directly to E-bay and not myself.

In the event that the item has been found to be "Not as Described and/or in a Faulty condition", then I shall happily accept a return and reimburse you the full item price paid but you be will expected to pay the return postage yourself. I also expect the item to come back in the exact condition it was sold to you in and that the unique tamper-proof security seal to be in place and no evidence of it being tampered with. I also expect that the unit has not been opened under any circumstances prior to the return.

This item has been opened prior to sale and serial numbers, identification numbers, model numbers, are noted down and internal pictures are also taken/recorded for proof on all items. Also invisible security marks in particular area's and tamper proof stickers are in place internally & are also in-place externally for both piece of mind and to ensure that the sale/return is always accurately represented/recorded.

Please remember that eBay charges sellers 10% commission on postage in addition to the 10% that already applies on selling fees.

Additionally sellers are also charged commission at 4% for using PayPal as this is a separate company.
Therefore Any postage price reflects not just the cost of the postage stated on the box label but it also incurs any materials/packaging used and the commission charged as mentioned prior. Please give this thought when you leave feedback.
