This charming antique porcelain demitasse cup and saucer were made by MZ Austria (Moritz Zdekauer) circa 1890–1909. The set features a delicate hand-painted daisy pattern on a soft lavender band, accented with raised gold beading and a gilded handle and rim. The design continues with graceful green stems extending down the cream-colored body—an elegant example of late Austro-Hungarian Art Nouveau style.
Marked on the base with the green double eagle “MZ Austria” backstamp, used between 1884 and 1909.
This lovely set displays beautifully and makes a wonderful addition to any fine porcelain or antique floral china collection.
