Being at the right place at the right time, helped me to write a novel. As a journalist, I wanted to document the lives of some of the most elderly people living in Princeton, New Jersey during the time my children attended Princeton Schools there. I felt that there must be such a wealth of knowledge in the community and University. I wanted to find out how much knowledge existed among the elderly. I looked up the oldest living man and woman in Princeton at the time. I got in touch with them and asked them for an interview. The woman was 100-years old. The man was 103.
