This is one of 40 type 1 photographs produced for the inaugural 1934 College Football All-Star Game, with one set of photos distributed to each participant.  It is autographed, “Bob Jones" in vintage dark blue fountain pen. The photograph is in outstanding condition with just a touch of wear.

Along with a notarized LOA from PSA/DNA, this autographed football type 1 photo has both pedigree and provenance, originating from Fritz Febel of Purdue, who played in the game.  The selection of subjects in the set includes the best players and most famous coaches from the 1933 college football season.

The 1933 College All-Stars played the Chicago Bears on August 31, 1934, in Soldier field and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.  The size is approximately 4 inches by 5 inches. The photograph is in Very Good to Excellent condition and the autograph is as nice as you will ever find -- Near Mint to Mint+.

Bob Jones starred for Indiana University (Captain, All-Big Ten) and then played for the Green Bay Packers in 1934.
