Easy Installation:

1. Remove the fuel tank, the old shock and cut away the remaining crossmember. 2. Hold this new crossmember in place and weld it solid. 3. Reinstall the fuel tank and new shocks. No need to remove the truck bed. Safe and worry-free installation!

Pre-Welded:

The left side inside mount plate, the right side upper shock mount, the fuel tank strap hanger bracket are pre-welded. (Note: Not all GMC tanks are the same size. For a crew cab you may had to cut off the strap mounting bracket and move it over about 2 in more towards to the center of reinforcement.)
