HELLERKUNST, EPOCHEN: Man kann die Hellerkunst-Figuren in drei Epochen unterteilen; Antik, Jahrhundertmitte und Vintage. Antike Hellerkunst stammt aus den 1920er und 1930er Jahren. Die ganz frühen Bilder hatten meist einen Sockel mit geraden Seiten und spitzen Kanten. Die Heller-Märchen-Holzbilder der Jahrhundertmitte hatten den abgerundeten Sockel und waren bis um 1960 herum noch komplett handbemalt. Dann folgte eine Übergangszeit von Siebdruck plus Handbemalung. Zur Vintage Hellerkunst gehören die späten Siebdruckfiguren Ende des letzten Jahrhunderts: Sie weisen gar keine Handbemalung mehr auf.

🇬🇧 HELLER, ERAS: You can divide the Hellerkunst wood pictures into three eras: antique, mid-century, and vintage. The antique figures are from the 1920s and 1930s, with the very early ones often having a base with straight sides and sharp edges. The mid-century Heller wall figures had rounded bases and were completely hand-painted until about 1960, after which came a transitional period with screen printing plus additional hand-painting. The vintage Hellerkunst figures from the late 20th century were screen-printed only, with no more hand-painting. (Buch/25)
