The 5th generation Toyota 4Runner has four D-ring attachments in the cargo area. These areas are sunk down into the floor of the cargo area, making it a prime spot to collect dirt and debris.

These d-ring cover accessories fit precisely into the socket of each D-ring keeping all dirt and debris out. The tight fit also prevents annoying rattling while driving.
