Important Linkage System Notice
Always ensure the tractor is parked on a level surface and the 3-point hitch is fully lowered to the ground before working on the linkage. Relieve all hydraulic pressure by moving the position and draft control levers back and forth with the engine off.
- Disconnect the top link from the existing rocker bracket.
- Disconnect the draft control sensing rod or linkage attached to the rocker arm.
- Remove the retaining pins, bolts, or hardware securing the old rocker bracket to the rear axle housing or lift cover.
- Carefully extract the old bracket. Note the orientation of any spacers, washers, or bushings.
- Thoroughly clean the mounting surface and linkage pins with lint-free cloths. Inspect pins for excessive wear or scoring and replace if necessary.
- Lubricate the pivot bores and linkage pins of the new Hydraulic Lift Rocker with clean grease or multi-purpose lubricant.
- Position the new bracket and reinstall all retaining hardware. Torque to manufacturer specifications.
- Reattach the draft control sensing rod and the top link.
