Andy Warhol Rare 1971 Original Cow (Blue) Wallpaper Silkscreen Print

This is an original silkscreen Cow wallpaper created by Andy Warhol in 1971 which originates from the artist’s estate. Among his most iconic works of art, Warhol first showed his Cow Wallpaper in conjunction with a 1966 exhibition of his work at Leo Castelli Gallery, which consisted of the wallpaper in one room, and his helium-filled Silver Clouds in another. He subsequently created three different versions. This is a unique opportunity to purchase an original Cow Wallpaper directly from Warhol’s own personal collection.

Proceeds directly benefit the non-profit charitable organization he founded with the mission to advance the visual arts. Since its inception in 1987, The Andy Warhol Foundation has been a stalwart advocate for freedom of expression, supporting work that is experimental and challenging in nature and from communities that have been historically marginalized.
