HIGH COMPRESSION — PLEASE READ

These are HIGH COMPRESSION pistons, not standard replacements. They raise the compression ratio, which changes how the engine runs. Before ordering, consider:

- Higher octane fuel is normally required

- Ignition timing and carburation may need setting up to suit

- Head skimming, valve clearance and squish should be checked by your engine builder

- This is a tuning part, not a like-for-like standard rebuild part

FITMENT — IMPORTANT

Honda CB500 Four, SOHC — the classic 1970s air-cooled four.

This does NOT fit the modern CB500F / CB500X / CB500R parallel twin. Despite the similar name, that is a completely different engine. If your bike is a 2013-onwards CB500, these pistons are not for you.
