What's in the box

Your Stars80 mechanical keyboard kit contains everything you need to build your keyboard except for keycaps and switches, which have to be purchased separately. Stabilizers are pre-installed and soldering is not required as it includes a hot-swap PCB. Your stabilizers are also pre-lubed from the factory.

Below is a comprehensive list of what you'll receive in your kit:

  • Aluminum Keyboard (not including keycaps or switches)
  • Type-A to Type-C Cable

Wireless Connectivity

The Stars80 mechanical keyboard has tri-mode connectivity with the following modes:

  • Bluetooth
  • Wired (Type-C)
  • 2.4 GHz

Enabling the Design Tab on VIA

Then, navigate to the new tab next to the gear icon (with the brush icon), click "Load" to upload the JSON file downloaded previously. Once you've uploaded the file, you will see that VIA recognizes the device as shown below with the Lucky65 V2 that has the same connection steps:
