What you see is what you get. I do not cover up damaged stamps. If there is a problem I try to tell it in the
description OR show it. Many prepare
these items for sale. If I see a problem
I take a picture of the back of the stamp or mention the damage. I stand behind
any issues that exist in relation to the item.
Overview----
I first list an item at a
price where it is below the retail price. if it goes unsold I relist it
with a lower price. I also review my buy it now items when 15 days
remain. At that time I very often reduce the price 10%. So watch my
listings. My long term goal is to list every lot at a starting price
of one penny. I need a large audience of
regular customers to do this. Hopefully
I am well on my way to achieving this goal.
When viewing my listings it
could be a good thing if you went to my store.
Click on the icon. Here you will
have the ability to do a search. If you
are only interested in CHINA, type it in, and only CHINA items will
appear. Etc.
CIRCUIT SHEETS
When buying on circuit sheets please
understand that the people that mounted the stamps are sometimes novices and
there might be errors. If the error is
more serious than your appetite PLEASE tell me and I can make an
adjustment. All collectors try to be
honest and normally UNDERVALUE their stamps.
My sincere feeling is ONCE YOU BUY YOUR FIRST GROUP on circuit sheets
you will be a regular customer. Lots of
bargains.
On the sheet next to the catalog number there
is sometimes a used symbol or one * meaning MH or ** meaning MNH. I am winding down my trading club and still have
10, 000 sheets to sell so keep watching.
Shipping info-----
When you buy one item the price is as
listed. If you buy multiple items you
pay 100% amount listed for first most
expensive P&H item, then 50% of the amount listed for all other additional items.
When you ask for an invoice I combine the items and you see the total price
before you pay.
If you take one of the items that are flat
rate (now $11.90) additional items are a max of $1 ea (many are .50) assuming
they fit into the package and the total price comes to less than $300. I
try to limit shipping to $300 packages.
Media mail is separate. I cannot mix media
mail with regular mail. For foreign mail I try to use ONE global stamp to not
attract attention. Here too I will combine multiple media mail items and give a
50% discount on additional items.
I also
use my home (not business) address. You
have already paid taxes and stuff so the post office should not be
concerned.
Request an invoice. I will send you an updated invoice every time
you add one in the queue. When you are
done you pay the last invoice received which will have the total adjusted
price. If you have some items that will
not allow you to do this assure you pay at the same time and pay your last
invoice. This will help me combine the
orders and give a proper discount. I say
this because some people have trouble getting all the items paid to me in the
same way. Don’t know why, but I fix it
at my end. Lastly, if you do not request a combined
invoice I cannot refund under $1 so if you buy two items and are due 50 cents
ebay does not allow this small transaction.
So, best is to ask for an invoice or buy 3 items.
Sometimes a total gets over $100 and you want
to get tracking and would rather pay the priority mail amount. This can easily be done if you request it
when you ask for a combined invoice.
Additional items that fit into the same envelope cost $1 each no matter
what the shipping amount says. Even if
it says it is also a priority mail price.
There is an additional fee if you request additional insurance from the
post office.
Insurance. Domestic items, are required to have
insurance. I use real postage and do not
participate in tracking option unless it is priority mail. So, postage fees include insurance as well as
other overhead. I do use tracking for priority mail
items. So all domestic items are 100%
covered after waiting 30 days for delivery.
The post office is very slow near holidays and local area problems. I have no control over these conditions. If you finally get an item after you got a
refund there is no ebay process to pay me.
You have to send a check. This is
why I wait for 30 days.
Some of my larger priced lots going to Europe
have a large insurance fee from the post office. If You want to accept responsibility for mail
loss (meaning NO INSURANCE) let me know and I will switch you to a $2 flat
fee. Sometimes insurance is just not
worth it. I need to send you an adjusted
invoice BEFORE you pay as ebay does not let me see the details on some
transaction. If you buy multiple lots I
always charge $1 fee for additional lots in the same envelope.
PLEASE NOTE:: Foreign Items shipped with no
insurance paid have no insurance.
Insurance is not worthwhile on most items I sell as the price for the
stamp is less than the insurance cost.
If you want insurance and it is not part of the listed amount, let me
know and I will change it. Out of the
U.S. insurance is over $50 to most countries part to be paid to ebay and part
to the post office when you receive the item.
Each country (I have been told) is different. I also offer the ebay
sending option on many of my lots. Here
the price is calculated by ebay but I do not think this includes insurance but
it is tracked.
Negotiating a special offer price…
Most of these offers are
from my sellers that I offer a consignment plan. They watch their listings and I have to list
the items at a price agreed. Some
customers are a little more but all are a fair starting price. Prices do go down as the listing is renewed. I mention this because this is the reason
that I cannot negotiate price
with most of my listings. But, quality
is there and the starting price is fair. If there is a fault I do not see but
it shows in the picture that is different.

As far as discount go ..I reduce all items to
a dollar and even lower to a penny on occasion.
A little secret about my listings.
I lower prices until item is sold.
The lower the Lot #(APC#) the more time the price has been lowered.

received quickly are common now adays. I ship all items within 24 hours
after payment with real postage as you are a collector. There is no
tracking. My customers appreciate the better packaging and frankage I
do. Join in on the fun. Better foreign mail items are shipped
with ebay delivery services. Look at my
reviews. My customers love the shipping
time and the covers.

Something special….
But many like this the
best. I have been told that cancels from
a small city in Europe have the best value for the specialty collector. I assume this would be true in the U.S. too. So I use my local post office which is a
cleaner. He has a cleaner post cancel
machine. Then I use some kind of BETTER stamps
for postage on each mailing. My
customers LOVE my covers. Obviously some
get damaged in the mail. Some do not get
what you would call special postage. But
most get a special something on the cover.
AREA of concern…
Please note. Communication using messages on ebay is very
confusing. You have a lot number, an
email address, an ebay name, and ebay is not consistent in their communication
which they will show me. So to get all
your messages in the same screen on my computer is very difficult. So, please make all communication clear and
not dependent upon previous messages.

listing…
I am winding down a stamp
club that I ran for over 35 years. The
sheets I am listing are being sold on consignment and are different levels in
quality but mounted and identified by many different people. I can only say MOST are a great deal but I
have not reviewed all of the contents.
So any problems, let me know. So
far I have not had any problems but I am scheduling them quickly to provide a
good mix for ebay and I am sure some concern might rise. I have thousands of
sheets. They are organized and make it
easy for you to add them to your collection.

Lastly, You will notice much variety in my
offerings. I list items as a service to
the hobby. Obviously I make nothing on
selling items for a penny or even a dollar.
But the new collector needs a starting point. And I service this new collector as a service
to the hobby. So browse my
