It is the Illustrated First Edition hardcover book with a slipcase from 1945.

There are beautiful water-color illustrations by Wesley Dennis.

The book is in very good condition.

The slipcase is in good+ condition.

Book:

The text block and binding are tight and complete. There are NO loose pages.

It has a previous owners book plate on the first page.

There is a shelf bump at the bottom corner of the front and back cover.

Slipcase:

It is solid with NO split seams.

The top opening of the slipcase is frayed from taking the book in and out of the case.

There is some slight wear along the edges and openings of the slipcase.

A small piece of the title plate is torn off.

There is a water spot at the top of the slipcase.

There are some slight stains on the outside of the slipcase.
