This vintage Royal Doulton Grimwades six piece tea for one set is in very good

condition with no chips or cracks. There is faint age induced crazing as one

might expect. The chintz pattern and gold trim are intact. The set comprises

teapot, tea cup, creamer, sugar bowl, three slice toast rack, all seated on tray.

The pattern name is 'Victorian,' the number 3164. This pattern was introduced

in 1936. The word 'chintz' takes its name from the Hindu word 'Chhintna'

meaning 'to sprinkle with.'
