Hugo & Egon is a cartoon series from 1995 that was made in Germany . The show is based on the puppet show Der Müllberg calls - Stories from the Tonnental by Dieter Kussani and is about the yellow bin Hugo and the yellow sack Egon and was part of a 45 million DM (approx. 23 million euros) advertising campaign for the German dual system.

The series is assigned to the field of environmental education and focuses on the topics of recycling and waste separation . It was broadcast from 1995 on the youth channel Junior (then premiere, now Sky Germany ).
