ANTIQUE Victorian/Art Nouveau Ornate Silver Plated 3pc Vanity Set - Mirror, Brush, Comb.
This is a beautiful and highly decorative antique vanity set. The pieces feature an ornate repoussé (raised) floral and scrollwork design on a distinctive shield-shaped body.

The metal is a silver-plated finish, which has acquired a rich, deep, dark patina (tarnish) over time, consistent with its age. This set is perfect for a collector, a restoration project, or for use as gorgeous, authentic antique boudoir display pieces. They have been in my wife's family for 3 generations but we really have no clue how old the pieces are.

Included Pieces (3 Total):

Hand Mirror: Shield-shaped with ornate floral design. Features a monogram. The reflective surface is clear but shows some minor signs of age and clouding.
Hair Brush Handle: Matching ornate shield-shaped design * * PLEASE NOTE THE BRUSH IS MISSING BRISTLES * *
Comb: Clear plastic/celluloid comb in an ornate silver-plated holder.

This antique set is being sold AS IS for its decorative value, as it requires restoration. Please review all photos carefully before bidding/buying.

Hair Brush: The bristles are completely missing. This piece is sold as an ornate handle and back for restoration (re-bristling) or display only.
Comb: The plastic/celluloid comb piece has some broken teeth on the end (visible in photos).
Overall Condition: The silver-plate has heavy, deep tarnish and patina (oxidation). We have left this unpolished to preserve its antique state, and the decision to polish is left entirely to the buyer. There is general surface wear and minor scratching throughout.
