Rules of the game

The chips are placed on the playing field according to the picture. The first move is decided by drawing lots. The moves are made alternately, strictly along the lines of the playing field in any direction.

The player starting the game moves one of the chips to a free central point of the playing field. The opponent jumps over this piece ("eats" it) and stands on a free point behind it. The "eaten" piece is removed from the playing field. The first move of both partners is a standard start of the game. But after the second move of the player who started the game, his opponent has the opportunity to make several options for continuing the game.

The main task: to create a smaller number of such situations when the opponent can "eat" your piece, and at the same time try to "eat" as many of the opponent's pieces as possible. You can "eat" several pieces in one move, provided that there is a free point of the playing field behind each of them.

As the game progresses, the number of pieces becomes smaller. The player can move the remaining pieces to one of the corners. They cannot be "eaten" there, since there is no free space on the playing field behind the corner piece. You can also leave the corner, but only if the opponent's pieces are advantageously located. The player who "eats" all of the opponent's pieces wins. If the players have one or two chips left and they can no longer achieve victory, a draw is declared.
