Up for sale, a 1989 Fender Jazz Bass ‘62 vintage reissue model JB62-75 in 100% original condition and in perfect working order. This “Made in Japan” Jazz Bass was crafted at the venerable Fujigen factory during the golden age of Fender Japan production, uncommon outside of its country of origin. Vintage-correct touches include long-stem clover button tuners with full-size baseplates, spiral (threaded) saddles, and a pencil-dated neck heel.

Tonewoods include an alder body, maple neck, and slab rosewood fretboard, and at 8lbs 14oz, this instrument offers sweet sustain and a balanced, smooth acoustic quality. Plugged in, the pair of single coil pickups deliver a touch of aggressive growl, ample midrange presence and burp, and focused low end power. This JB62-75 benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 45-100 roundwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.
