Turn of the century late 1800's - early 1900's Chaps Made by Al Furstnow in Miles City Montana. These came from the great nephew of the original owner/Cowboy who's family comes from Montana. The gentleman who these were made for was tall and slender as I tried them on being a 36" waist and 5'9" tall. They barely fit around the waist and were too long, in my estimate the Cowboy who owned them was probably 34" waist and 6' tall. I also assume the Cowboy was a gambler from the Diamond and Heart branding on the lower part of the legs.
The maker is well known and attached is some information in screenshots. These have only been used by the original owner and stayed within the family until passing to me by the great nephew. I can only imagine the history and years these have endured and in my opinion are an amazing part of history and will display well!
