This unique bag is handmade in the USA by John Flemming, a renowned New Orleans leather artist.. It is signed on the inside. This bag incorporates a unique opening method of simply sliding the cover upwards on its laces to expose a purse underneath with 2 pockets.
Made from crocodile leather, this is a special limited edition bag where a beautiful sterling silver and gemstone medallion has been added. It features a cutout in the shape of a fish with a black onyx eye and a waterfall affect.
This is the larger of the 2 sizes John Flemming makes these purses in - - 6 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" tall. If you are looking at sold and listed bags for price comparison, make sure you are taking into consideration that this is the larger size, is the special edition with the sterling silver accent plus the like-new condition of this bag. Even though it is the larger of the 2 sizes the artist makes, it still does not carry a lot inside because of how flat it is; so, please keep that in mind before you purchase.
