This antenna is designed to install anywhere behind your REC or RB1 navigation radio just beneath your dash top (under your windshield) in clear sight of the sky. It can be mounted & secured with its magnetic base (against any metal object under dash top) or with double-sided tape. Once installed, drive the vehicle to calibrate the system and to link to GPS satellites.
Make sure you are receiving at least 3 satellites after installation. Select NAV, Vehicle Information, then GPS information.
