<When using for the first time>

Check the body for cracks or other damage. If any problems are found, contact your retailer. The surface of the pot is coated with a rust-resistant baked-on paint, but you can continue using it as is. If you are concerned about the paint, wash it thoroughly with hot water and wipe off any excess water before use.

<Tips for use>

Adjusting the heat frequently when eating to prevent food from burning will ensure delicious food and make cleaning easier.

<After use>

If the food is not too badly burnt, soak it in hot water for a while and then wash it with dish soap. If the stain cannot be removed with a sponge, you can soak a metal scrubbing brush in a small amount of detergent and then wash it, but please be careful as this may scratch the surface. Cast iron rusts easily, so be sure to drain the water immediately after washing.

*This pot is not dishwasher or dish dryer safe.

<Storage>

Draining the water thoroughly after washing will help prevent rust. <Precautions for Use>

When using with a portable stove, never allow the plate to rest on or extend beyond the gas canister. This can cause the gas canister to overheat, which is extremely dangerous. Also, depending on the shape of the portable stove or the size of the Genghis Khan pot, it may not be compatible. Be sure to read the portable stove's instruction manual and use it correctly.
