This is a Sonos ZonePlayer ZP90 not a Sonos Connect or a Sonos Connect Amp this unit will not power speaker. It is intended for use with equipment like a receiver that has an amp built into it. This piece then connects to it to allow the user to play sonos through it from your phone, ipad, etc.
