THIS AUCTION IS FOR a VERY RARE  original 1984 GEORGE LILJA CLEVELAND BROWNS 1 game only style PRE-SEASON GAME WORN NFL FOOTBALL JERSEY. Before the 1984 season, the Browns decided to experiment with putting orange numbers on their home brown jerseys, and debuted them for their preseason home opener that year. After fans both in the stands and at home watching TV complained that the orange numbers weren't readable from their vantage points, the jerseys, such as this one were retired after their only appearance in that lone game.
